Upper Hill to Westlands — Britam Tower & GTC Office Tower

Britam Tower, Kenya's tallest at 200 m and 32 floors (2017), carries three wind turbines in its mast. The 184 m GTC Office Tower (42 floors, 2021) is East Africa's tallest office building.

The old guard — UAP Old Mutual Tower & Times Tower

UAP Old Mutual Tower (163 m, 33 floors, 2016) held the "tallest" crown for barely two years. Times Tower (140 m, 38 floors, 2000) is the earthquake-resistant headquarters of the Kenya Revenue Authority.

Glass and government — Prism Tower & Bunge Tower

Prism Tower's green glass facets (133 m, 34 floors, 2018) deflect over 85% of infrared heat. Bunge Tower (125 m, 26 floors, 2024) is Kenya's tallest government building, a decade in the making.

The bankers — I&M Bank Tower & KCB Plaza

I&M Bank Tower's spire rises 99 m over Kenyatta Avenue (16 floors, 2001). KCB Plaza (99 m, 21 floors, 2014) was the city's greenest tower when it opened.

The icons — CBK Pension Towers & KICC

CBK Pension Towers (110 m, 27 floors, 2022) was designed by a fully Kenyan team. KICC (105 m, 32 floors, 1973) ruled the skyline for 26 years — its rooftop restaurant still revolves once every 76 minutes.
